Muslims believe in that Islam was the religion of the first man “Adam.” All the prophets of God were also teaching Islam, including the last prophet Mohamed (peace be on to them all)
The Book of the Islam
The book of Islam is the Qur'an or Koran (depends the language.) The Qur'an is the final revelation which revealed by Allah (God) to prophet Mohamed through angel Gabriel. Muslims also believe in the other books of God; the Gospel of Jesus, the Torah of Moses, and the Psalms of David.
What do Muslims belief in?
- Belief in God (who, in Arabic, is named “Allah”)
- Belief in the angels
- Belief in the revealed Books of God
- Belief in God's many prophets (including Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and David)
- Accepting that there will be a Last Day and “ life after death”
- Belief in the divine good and bad.
All Muslims believe in that Jesus was born of a virgin and that he was a great prophet--yet he was only a man. They believe he was sent by God to help people obey God. Islam says Jesus spoke as a baby, healed the sick, and raised the dead. The Quran refers to Jesus as the word of God. Muslims do not think Jesus died on the cross. They believe that right before he was to be killed, God took him up to heaven and someone else was replaced him on the cross. They trust that Jesus will return to the earth again to usher in the final judgment from God and confirm that Islam is the true and final religion for all mankind.
